Dr. Kyle Grunwald (he/they) is a queer, neurodivergent chiropractor specializing in nervous-system–based care for neurodivergent individuals and the LGBTQ+ population. Drawing on advanced training in functional neurology, cranial sacral therapy, and gentle tonal approaches, they provide precise, evidence-informed care for patients of all ages. Dr. Kyle addresses a wide variety of concerns, including musculoskeletal complaints, TMJ dysfunction, balance and coordination difficulties, sinus challenges, and more. Their knowledge in gender-affirming care further supports a commitment to providing a safe and affirming environment where every patient is seen and respected.

In addition to chiropractic care, Dr. Kyle offers low-level laser therapy (LLLT), a scientifically supported modality shown to reduce inflammation, enhance nervous system health, and improve tissue healing after injuries and surgeries. When combined with chiropractic, LLLT can accelerate recovery, improve resilience, and lead to more complete outcomes for both acute and chronic conditions. The North Portland Wellness Center offers Acupuncture + Herbal Medicine, Chiropractic Care and Therapeutic Massage for the whole family. Founded and managed by partners Dr. Annabelle Snow, LAc and Dr. Lili Scott, LAc, the clinic has been serving our community since 2006.

We specialize in injury treatment, auto accidents, acute + chronic pain, stress-related conditions, family health + wellness including fertility, pregnancy and pediatric care. We accept most major insurance plans including motor vehicle and work injury claims. We’re open until 7pm Monday-Thursday, and open both Friday and Saturday.

We typically practice out of a beautiful renovated 4 square home on N Vancouver Avenue and Alberta Street, but due to a clinic fire in June 2025, we are temporarily located on NE MLK as our clinic building goes through a complete rebuild.
